How We Help

CO2 Asset Management gives your organization one place to track every asset, across every site, with the location context that spreadsheets can’t provide.

See Your Entire Portfolio

Organize properties into Estates (your portfolio) and Sites (individual locations). Navigate from the big picture down to individual assets.

Visualize on Floor Plans

Upload building floor plans and place assets exactly where they are. Not “somewhere on Floor 2” - the actual location you can point to.

Standardize Your Data

Use Catalogues of pre-defined asset types. Everyone captures the same information in the same way.

Collaborate in Real-Time

Multiple team members work simultaneously. Changes sync instantly. Full history and undo capability.

Create an Estate for your organization, then add Sites for each building or location. This mirrors how you think about your properties:

Acme Corporation (Estate)
├── London Headquarters (Site)
├── Manchester Warehouse (Site)
└── Birmingham Office (Site)

For each site, upload floor plan images or PDFs. The system displays them as interactive maps where you can zoom, pan, and navigate between floors.

Drag assets from the Catalogue onto your floor plans. Each asset knows:

  • Its exact position on the floor plan
  • Which building and floor it belongs to
  • Its specifications from the catalogue
  • Any custom data you add (serial numbers, maintenance dates, etc.)

Your asset database grows as you work. Unlike spreadsheets, it stays current because:

  • Changes are tracked automatically
  • Everyone sees the same data
  • History is preserved (you can always see what changed)
  • Mistakes are easily undone

Here’s where the “CO2” in our name becomes clear. Asset tracking is the foundation for carbon management:

Asset catalogues include energy specifications:

  • Wattage and power consumption
  • Efficiency ratings
  • Fuel type (for boilers, heaters)
  • Refrigerant type (for HVAC)

When you place an asset from the catalogue, this data comes with it.

With accurate asset data, you can:

  • Sum energy consumption by building, floor, or asset type
  • Identify the highest-impact equipment
  • Compare efficiency across sites
  • Track improvements over time

The Proposals feature helps you plan changes:

  • Model the impact of replacing old equipment
  • Calculate expected energy and carbon savings
  • Build a business case with real data
  • Track actual vs. projected improvements

Export your data for:

  • ESOS (Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme) compliance
  • SECR (Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting)
  • Internal sustainability reporting
  • Grant applications (like Salix funding)

Not everyone needs the same access:

  • Viewers can browse and search
  • Editors can add and modify assets
  • Admins can manage users and settings

Permissions work at estate level, site level, or even specific areas.

Surveyors can capture assets on tablets without internet. Changes sync when they reconnect. No more “I’ll update the spreadsheet later” (and then forgetting).

Every change is recorded:

  • Who made it
  • When it happened
  • What the previous value was

For compliance and accountability, this matters.
