Undo & History

Section titled “Viewing History”Every action you take is recorded. To see what’s happened:
- Navigate to the item you want to check (estate, site, or asset)
- Look for the History tab or icon
- Browse through past changes
What’s in the History?
Section titled “What’s in the History?”Each history entry shows:
- What changed - The action that was taken
- Who made it - Which team member
- When - The date and time
This is helpful for:
- Understanding how something ended up in its current state
- Tracking who made specific changes
- Recovering from mistakes by undoing multiple steps
How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”Behind the scenes, CO2 Asset Management saves every change as a separate “event.” This approach has several benefits:
- Nothing is lost - Even if you delete something, the history of what existed is preserved
- Full audit trail - Every change is tracked with who made it and when
- Reliable undo - Because each action is recorded, undoing is precise and reliable
Think of it like a detailed logbook that records every action, rather than just overwriting the current state.
- Undo is instant - Changes undo immediately without needing to save
- Works offline - Even when offline, undo works. Your history syncs when you reconnect.
- No time limit - You can view history from weeks or months ago
